Mobile Library
Knowledge and heritage
A travelling learning space carrying books, practical knowledge and creative participation to schools and communities.
What this experience reveals
From an idea to a lived experience.
The Mobile Library extends access by taking learning to people where they are. Assalam's chronology records a specific school reach by September 2025 and later reports a broader combined reach for the Mobile Library and Cultural Workshops through June 2026; this page keeps those two measures distinct.

Inside this experience
Knowledge made visible.
Three ways this part of the village connects inherited knowledge, practical learning and community life.
Narrative supplied by Assalam in July 2026, with dated reach figures checked against the chronology through June 2026.
01
A travelling resource
The library goes where learners are.
Developed with support from TUI Foundation, the Mobile Library carries books and facilitated learning beyond a permanent campus building.
Assalam's chronology records the library reaching learners across a wide network of schools - a milestone whose detailed figures now live on the Impact page.
02
More than book delivery
Reading opens into practical learning.
The supplied narrative describes sessions that connect reading to practical science, local medicinal knowledge, menstrual-health education and creative activity.
Facilitation matters because the resource is not simply dropped off: ideas are discussed, demonstrated and connected to learners' own questions.
03
A permanent commitment to movement
Access designed to continue.
The vehicle is mobile, but the intention is lasting community outreach. Repeated visits can help relationships with schools grow beyond a single event.
Assalam's latest summary reports substantial combined participation across the Mobile Library and Cultural Workshops. The detailed reach figure is kept on the Impact page and is not claimed as Mobile Library-only attendance.
