Methodology & data transparency

Credibility begins with saying what the data can—and cannot—tell us.

This living methodology makes assumptions visible, protects distinct metrics and marks organization-specific definitions that still need confirmation.

01

What “reached” means

The published report uses reach figures, but the precise organization-wide counting rule—including contact intensity and minimum service threshold—is to be confirmed by Assalam Community Foundation.

02

What “beneficiary” means

The eligibility and counting definition for a beneficiary is to be confirmed by Assalam Community Foundation.

03

Direct and indirect beneficiaries

The current data does not consistently identify which totals are direct service participants and which include household or community-level indirect reach. Classification rules are to be confirmed.

04

Household estimates

No household multiplier is applied by this website. Any household estimation method, sample source or household-size assumption must be confirmed before publication.

05

Program participation

Participation records should preserve activity type, date, program and unit of measure. A participation instance must not automatically be described as a unique person.

06

Potential repeat participants

A person may participate more than once or across multiple programs. The present report may include repeat participation; deduplication methods are to be confirmed.

07

Unique people vs participation instances

The headline total is presented as the organization reports it. This platform does not independently claim it represents deduplicated unique people.

08

How gender is recorded

Gender is modeled separately from age and disability. Collection choices, self-identification options and treatment of unknown values are to be confirmed.

09

How age groups are recorded

Children, youth, adults and elders are separate age categories in the future schema. Exact age bands are to be confirmed.

10

Disability inclusion

The future schema distinguishes persons with disabilities, persons without disabilities and not recorded. Collection method and voluntary disclosure practice are to be confirmed.

11

Data verification

Published figures currently cite the Assalam Community Foundation Data Driven Report. Internal review stages, supporting records, spot checks and external assurance are to be confirmed.

12

Reporting periods

The cumulative period is 2017–2025. The cut-off date, fiscal/calendar-year convention and next-year target period are to be confirmed.

13

Corrections and updates

A formal correction log, versioning convention and publication cadence are to be confirmed. Future data records support verification status and last-updated fields.
