Hey Uncle:
I still remember the healing song that you shared with the people up at our International Indigenous Leadership Gathering in Stl'atl'imx territory...and we thank you for bringing us the message of the "return of the sacred fire ceremony" to your people in Greenland. We are preparing to do a sweatlodge ceremony that will begin at 12:00 noon on July 17, 2009, at which time we too will be sharing prayers, hand drum songs, and burning sacred medicines...to offer to the spirit world. Whoy' mahl'!

The transformative power of fire is a danger and a blessing as we all know, more or less.
So when we invoke the body and spirit of fire, for shure we have to be aware that it will work on us and spread its nature wherever it finds food.
We all have contributed to Mother Earth melting her ice- poles now - who are we not to contibute to melt our ice in our hearts and share the risk of what will happen to us - all together! May the spirit of fire be gentle with us...!
